Leukaemia Foundation Dorothy Banks Bursary

ESA International
Dorothy Banks
Leukaemia Bursary

$5000

This bursary is in memory of Dorothy Banks and is jointly supported by ESA International and the Leukaemia Queensland Foundation.
The bursary is designed to improve the services and care provided to patients being treated in the Haematology setting. It provides an opportunity for a Registered Allied Health Professional/Registered Nurse practicing in this field in Queensland, who has a keen interest and passion in the care of their patients to undertake further professional development or to attend either a national or international conference.
To honour the tireless fundraising efforts and enduring dedication to the care of patients and their families by the ESA International ladies, the purpose built accommodation complex for patients and their families was opened on 21 December 1994, and named ESA Village. Originally situated in South Brisbane, ESA Village relocated to the new Boggo Road Urban Village, Dutton Park, in 2012.

To apply for this bursary email qldsupport@leukaemia.org.au

Applications open in July.
